Shift: Swing Shift | 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
As a Direct Care Professional, You Will:
- Support clients with daily routines and independent living skills, including meal prep, personal hygiene, household chores, and organization
- Assist with medication reminders and health needs
- Cook, clean, and create a safe, welcoming home environment
- Provide transportation to appointments, shopping, work, or recreational activities
- Encourage and model positive social skills, communication, and problem-solving
- Help clients build confidence and independence through goal-setting and skill development
- Participate in fun community outings like movies, dining, sports, and local events
- Be a reliable source of encouragement, stability, and advocacy for those you serve
- Collaborate with your team and supervisors to ensure the best care for each client
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance/registration
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid and Medication Certification (we’ll help!)
- Most importantly: a kind heart, patience, and a good sense of humor
