At Suburban Testing Labs, we turn science into impact! We’re seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Sample Technician to join our team in Reading, PA. In this role, you’ll handle the intake, documentation, and organization of environmental samples to support compliance and decision-making. From logging samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and handling storage and distribution, your work ensures accuracy, efficiency, and integrity across the lab.
PART-TIME POSITION: 2nd shift schedule, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., three days per week, 8 hours per day every TUES., WED., & THURS. Periodic overtime required.

- Receive and document samples (primarily water samples);
- Verify sample condition and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements;
- Accurately log sample details and requested analyses into LIMS;
- Label, organize, and distribute samples to laboratory teams;
- Maintain orderly and secure sample storage, retrieval, and disposal;
- Prepare sample kits and manage outbound shipments;
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Basic computer skills, including database and spreadsheet entry;
- Strong recordkeeping skills with attention to detail;
