Shipping Clerk '"A" Shift at Nice-Pak Products, Inc.

POSITION PURPOSE This is a 12 hour rotating 2-2-3 day shift. 5:45am to 6pm. This is a safety sensitive position. This position is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing and shipping of product to meet company standards of safety, quality and productivity. This position interacts with other warehouse personnel, management, carriers, vendors and other departments on a regular basis and must maintain professional and courteous relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES DATA ENTRY & INTEGRITY: Input daily data in reports as assigned. Maintain Shipping and Receiving Schedule integrity. Maintain Driver log integrity Verify paperwork accuracy Follow CTPAT Guidelines and create customs documents for all Export Shipments REPORTING & ANALYSIS: Verify all shipments in WMS Follow cGMP standards CLIENT ENGAGEMENT: Maintain positive interaction with carrier personnel Provide inventory updates to Customer Service for order cuts Effective email, phone and interpersonal communication Communicate with warehouse operators, quality control and inventory control. TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Input data from inbound paperwork in to WMs and validate transactions match once received Prioritize work and manage work queue in WMS to insure balanced work flow for floor Maintain outbound paperwork flow from office to warehouse operatives for loading SPECIAL PROJECTS: All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Simple Math, Microsoft Office, WMS

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2-4 years of experience in a similar clerk role in a warehousing/distribution environment

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Intermediate computer skills and ability to follow directions and work independently
