Job Summary

Under direction, ensures the academic integrity of standardized testing conditions and security of test materials for exams administered to medical students.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and verify functionality of digital testing devices and secure exam software
  • Monitor exam sessions using technology tools to ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to devices, software, and connectivity during exams
  • Maintain integrity of electronic test materials and ensure proper submission of responses
  • Ensures there is no talking or cheating during examinations
  • Prevent or minimize any disturbances to examinees during the examination

Minimum Qualifications

Preferences

  • Experience with digital testing platforms and secure browsers
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on tablets, laptops, and related software
  • Familiarity with basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Reliability and punctuality are a must
  • Availability early mornings and afternoons on weekdays
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with the Apple iPad and related software
  • If already employed with the University of Utah, must be working only 15 hours per week or less
