Operations Manager at Scion Staffing

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Operations Manager on behalf of our water and wastewater treatment company based in Santa Monica, CA! This is an opportunity offering a full-time, on-site work schedule.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. This position will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day field activities related to water and wastewater systems. The ideal candidate will focus on staff leadership, operational efficiency, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliable and cost-effective services throughout Southern California.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and support field personnel, serving as the main point of contact for operational matters
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports required for regulatory and internal purposes
• Design and implement updated work processes that improve compliance, performance, and efficiency
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with team members, regulators, partners, and community stakeholders
• Address and resolve service requests, customer concerns, and operational issues as they arise
  
  

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in operations, utilities, or field management role
• High School Diploma or higher education
• Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively across diverse groups
• A hands-on approach and willingness to take initiative in a fast-moving environment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to travel within Southern California approximately one day each week
  
  

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This opportunity provides room for professional growth within a fast-moving team that is working toward ambitious goals, along with an annual salary range of $100,000–$110,000, depending on experience.
