Corporate Paralegal at AssetMark

Job Description:

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA office.

Position Summary

Provides support to attorneys within our legal department with the focus on business and legal matters, including but not limited to:

• Reviewing vendor contracts
• Reviewing leases
• Preparing standard contract amendments and schedules
• Assisting with preparation and review of legal correspondence
• Researching and reviewing new and developing areas of law, with a special focus on regulatory developments in the investment advisory space and labor law
• Assisting with facilitation and legal drafting in relation to firm-wide priorities and projects
  
  
  

Education, Experience And Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or certificate program in paralegal studies or equivalent relevant work experience required
• Paralegal certification preferred
• Knowledge of legal principles and practices and legal terminology
• Experience with in-house corporate legal department a plus
• Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations a plus
• Experience in financial services a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of monitoring and completing a variety of projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated and self-directed with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Efficient and with a strong work ethic
• Relevant computer software knowledge and experience (including MS Office Suite)
  
  
  

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000.

 

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
