PSE's Major Projects team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Project Coordinator - Document Control position!
Specific details regarding the work arrangements for this position will be discussed in further detail during the interview process.
Job Description
The Project Coordinator supports one or more Project Managers and plays a key role in organizing and managing project documentation throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining efficient systems for storing, organizing, and retrieving project records, including drawings, submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and related materials.
In addition to document control responsibilities, the Project Coordinator may provide broader project support as needed, such as coordinating meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and assisting internal stakeholders with project information requests.
The Project Coordinator upholds all safety compliance standards in accordance with PSE's operational and field procedures, actively promoting a culture of total safety. The role also requires commitment to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and in alignment with PSE's core values and Code of Conduct, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory obligations.

The pay range for this position is $70,200.00 - $99,800.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.

Job Responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the Project Manager, establish and maintain a centralized document repository in Microsoft SharePoint.
- Retrieve, track, and organize project documentation from multiple sources, including file transfer systems, construction management software, and email correspondence.
- Monitor project mailboxes daily to ensure all essential documents are captured, properly stored, and accessible to relevant team members.
- Review and provide coordination support for project-related materials such as technical memoranda, design plans, and specifications.
- Assist the Project Manager in managing assigned project tasks and deliverables.
- Occasional overnight travel to construction sites.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Two year Associate’s Degree or better in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling concepts.
- Knowledge of utility methods, techniques and procedures involved in budgeting, procurement and contract administration.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, influence others and resolve issues.
- Customer-oriented, a positive, team-oriented attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and solid work ethic are expected.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Formal project management training would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with construction practices, workflows, and documentation (RFIs, submittals, drawings, etc.).
- Understanding of construction terminology and project documentation standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated team collaboration skills and abilitiy to support multiple project managers.
- Working knowledge of document management tools, such as:
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Procore
- Newforma
- Infinitrac
- Smartsheet
- Box or similar systems
