As a Health Educator, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering health education programs and initiatives that promote wellness, prevent disease, and support healthier lifestyles. You’ll work closely with individuals, families, and community groups to provide accurate health information, resources, and tools for positive behavior change.
Duties
- Design, plan, and implement evidence-based health education programs.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and outreach activities on a variety of health topics.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, schools, and community organizations.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop educational materials such as brochures, presentations, and social media content.
- Provide one-on-one health education and support as needed.
- Stay current on public health trends, policies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CHES or MCHES certification a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to connect with diverse populations and build trust.
- Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about health promotion.
