This position works in a shop environment with some outside exposure. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75lbs. The wearing of approved safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses with side shields and steel toe footwear) is required. Noise level is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to make sure everything’s built to standard.
- Do some basic wiring and handle materials safely.
- Clean, inspect, and prep units before they go out the door.
- Pitch in where needed — whether it’s in the shop or the warehouse.
- Work safely, stay productive, and help keep the team moving forward.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using tools — wrenches, drills, grinders, and more.
- Able to read and follow engineering drawings (or willing to learn).
- Dependable, teachable, and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Strong team player who shows up ready to work every day.
- Bring your own basic tools.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders or stairs regularly.
