Titan Resources is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk for our rapidly growing construction company in Pasadena, CA. The Accounting Clerk, under supervision, is primarily responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, processing payroll, and bank reconciliation. The person in this role must be comfortable working with company financials, spreadsheets, filing, organizing, and assisting with general clerical work.

Responsibilities:
- Manage, organize and implement billing and job costing.
- Reconciliation and accuracy of timely accounts payable processing and payment
- Maintain accounts receivable ledger, including review of incoming payments and remittance information, and be prepared for regular review of customer receivables aging reports with management.
- Timely and accurate processing of electronic timesheets, weekly payroll and certified payrolls.
- Bank reconciliations, monthly preparation of supporting documentation, variance analyses, journal entries, and other supporting reconciliations
- Follow all monthly AR/AP cash closing procedures
- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Establish and maintain accurate accounting spreadsheets
- Ensure that all financial and transactional data and journal entries are entered accurately into accounting software
- Maintain records, files, and documentation related to accounting processes
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 5 years' work experience in a construction office.
- A proven track record performing financial accounting and reporting
- Payroll experience; Certified Payroll Specialist is required!
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required!
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Excel
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Bank reconciliation experience
- Accounts receivable and payable experience
- General ledger experience.
