Assistant Manager Membership, Activation at adidas

PURPOSE

As part of the Membership team within the DTC Marketing organization, you will help drive consumer loyalty, acquisition, and retention across the U.S. and Canada. This role supports the execution of the North America Membership strategy, aligned with global direction and broader DTC Marketing goals through content, communications, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support membership lifecycle content and activation plans across digital and retail touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive engagement, retention, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Request and use data and insights to help inform content strategy and enhance member experiences.
  • Write consumer and channel-driven creative briefs; adapt global campaigns for local relevance.
  • Partner with creative teams, global counterparts, and internal stakeholders to uphold brand and Membership best practices.
  • Provide feedback during content and campaign development; manage stakeholder approvals and go-live testing.
  • Align with and gather inputs and approvals from key stakeholders when necessary.
  • Support CRM content scheduling and delivery, ensuring timely and complete execution.
  • Monitor and optimize processes to support Membership goals and deliver against KPIs.
  • Share feedback and insights with the global Membership and Consumer Engagement teams to ensure consistency and efficiency of activations within North America.
  • Support with membership activation planning for adidas.com and the adidas flagship app in coordination with key teams.
  • Deliver finished files and handovers to Partnerships, Performance Media, CRM, and Membership Operations teams on time and in full.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Understanding of eCommerce ways of working and activation best practices.
  • Experience in content creation, requirements, and best practices across multiple touchpoints.
  • Knowledge of technical and creative aspects of a digital ecosystem.
  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies including Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
  • Understanding of digital IT products and capabilities.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written.
  • Strong communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various levels of large-scale organization both in person and virtually.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and business needs.
  • Ability to prioritize a high number of tasks with varying priorities and time commitments.
  • Ability to understand content delivery needs, solutions and processes.
  • Ability to understand consumer behavior across the entire digital landscape.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to increase business impact.
  • Broad understanding and passion for the sports and/or fashion industry.
  • Strong problem solver, solution-oriented attitude and ability to efficiently manage a variety of projects and priorities.

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-year college or university degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in a Marketing discipline.
  • 2-4 years broad marketing/digital/ecommerce experience with exposure to global clients.
  • Experience with loyalty programs is a plus.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at various seniority levels as well as subject matter experts across various functions (developers, business stakeholders, product and marketing teams, etc.
