The Global IT Director is a visionary leader responsible for Branson Ultrasonics IT, spearheading the technology strategy and execution across the organization on a global scale. Charged with driving innovation and transformative IT solutions, this role ensures the alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives, positioning the company at the forefront of industry advancements. As the steward of global IT operations, the Global IT Director leads cross-functional teams, optimizes IT infrastructure, and fortifies cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational data and enhance operational efficiency. This position demands a dynamic thinker capable of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to propel the organization towards sustained growth and competitive excellence.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Serve as member of Branson’s global leadership team to develop and maintain best practices within the business unit and drive consistency across sites
  • Evaluate strategic priorities with World Area business leaders and develop the strategic IT Plan to align with business priorities
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

Technical Oversight:

  • Provide interface between Branson World Area site leadership teams and global business process teams to gather requirements and perform feasibility studies for system development or enhancement
  • Ensure high levels of system security, reliability, and performance across all global IT operations.
  • Act as an escalation resource for all global Branson facilities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend appropriate enhancements to the IT landscape.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of IT professionals across multiple regions, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Implement talent development programs to strengthen technical expertise and leadership capabilities within the team.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

  • Develop and control the global IT budget, ensuring financial accountability and optimal resource allocation.
  • Prioritize IT investments based on strategic business needs and potential return on investment.
  • Monitor ongoing expenditures and report on financial performance in relation to the global IT budget.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies across all regions
  • Provide support for Branson business systems including supportive workflow processes
  • Develop and oversee cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive data and ensure data integrity.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Required Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant 10 years of leadership experience in Information Technology of related field
  • Management experience
  • Strong analytical and communications skills with the ability to share presentations with users and business unit leaders
  • Ability to prioritize multiple long-term and short-term projects
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Advanced degree (Masters, Business Administration or other advanced IT or Engineering related degree)
  • A demonstrable experience in leading a large global organization, preferably in a matrix organization for the IT field
  • Experience with using or maintaining Oracle, SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems is a plus
