About The Job

We are seeking a solution-focused Environmental Data Manager with EQuIS experience and a strong background in database management and programming. In this role, you will:

• Lead and optimize data workflows for environmental projects using EQuIS and custom PostgreSQL systems.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transform raw data into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Drive innovation in data processing, analysis, and visualization to support client projects.

Requirements

As an Environmental Data Manager, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:

• Develop and document ETL procedures for centralized databases.
• Manage data acquisition, cleaning, transformation, and loading processes.
• Design and implement database models and maintain scripts, queries, and stored procedures.
• Perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and trend evaluation.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet data requirements and deliver insights.
• Maintain rigorous quality control and documentation standards.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of EQuIS experience (data loading, dashboard development, etc.).
• 5+ years in environmental data management, preferably in consulting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience with environmental data sets (field sampling, analytical chemistry, geospatial data, GIS).
• Programming skills in R or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with configuring EQuIS modules such as Collect, DQM, and SPM preferred.
  
  

Compensation is commensurate with experience and internal equity, within the listed range. An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary; company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) participation with a company match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation; company-paid life and short- and long-term disability insurance; paid sick leave (10 days), paid vacation (15 days), paid holidays (9 days) per year; and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
