About The Role
Hyatt Place Fayetteville/Springdale is looking for a dynamic Director of Sales who thrives on building business, developing strong client relationships, and driving meaningful revenue growth. This is not a role for an “order taker.” We need someone who can hunt for new business, create opportunities, and strategically position the hotel in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine a proactive sales strategy for all market segments
- Actively prospect, cold call, and build new accounts to grow the hotel’s base
- Maintain strong relationships with existing corporate, group, and travel industry partners
- Conduct outside sales calls, community networking, and site tours regularly
- Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly reports to track performance and identify opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Revenue Management to optimize rates and drive revenue
- Represent Hyatt Place and B&T Hospitality Management with professionalism and credibility in the community
A strong candidate will be someone who:
- Is driven, self-motivated, and competitive
- Knows how to generate revenue and isn’t afraid to get out from behind the desk
- Understands hotel sales fundamentals and market dynamics
- Has outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Can manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Brings previous hotel sales experience (Hyatt experience is a plus but not required)
- Minimum 2–3 years of hotel sales experience preferred
- Proven track record of growing accounts and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of local and regional corporate/group markets beneficial
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
