The Opportunity
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead fan engagement and drive ticket sales growth for Major League Cricket and its affiliated properties. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping MLC’s brand, deepening fan relationships, and developing marketing strategies that bring cricket to life across digital, experiential, and community platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Fan Engagement
- Develop and execute an annual marketing plan to grow awareness, engagement, and attendance for Major League Cricket, Minor League Cricket, and other ACE properties.
- Lead the development of integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, and experiential channels that inspire fandom and drive ticket sales.
- Oversee the launch and management of new ACE digital platforms, ensuring a seamless, engaging fan experience across web, app, and CRM.
- Manage and segment the fan database to deliver personalized, data-driven communications that increase engagement and retention.
- Develop storytelling and campaign strategies that highlight the excitement of cricket, league milestones, and player narratives.
- Identify and execute local and national community engagement opportunities to grow the sport’s grassroots presence.
- Support the planning, execution, and analysis of paid marketing campaigns across social, search, and digital media.
- Use analytics tools to measure campaign performance, optimize spend, and report on KPIs related to ticket sales and fan engagement.
- Monitor fan insights, behaviors, and trends to inform data-driven marketing decisions and content strategies.
- Work closely with the Social Media team to align content, messaging, and engagement campaigns.
- Partner with the Design team to maintain brand consistency and creative excellence across all marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the Ticketing team to build campaigns that drive conversions and matchday attendance.
- Support the Commercial team in delivering partnership activations and brand integrations.
- Liaise with Broadcast partners to promote major events and ensure brand alignment.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sports Presentation, and Events teams to elevate the in-stadium fan experience.
- Work alongside franchise teams to align regional campaigns with league-wide objectives and storytelling.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in sports marketing, preferably at a professional league, team, or governing body.
- Proven experience driving fan growth, engagement, and ticket sales through integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and fan data platforms.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns (social, search, display) and optimizing for performance.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and data interpretation to guide strategy.
- Cricket knowledge or interest preferred.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays in accordance with Major League Cricket’s live event schedule.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creative storytelling and analytical rigor.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about sports, fan culture, and growing a global game in a new market.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the MLC season and major events.
