Mesa seeks an Instructional Designer that will create engaging and effective learning experiences using instructional design methodologies and multimedia tools. This mid-level role involves collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop eLearning modules, instructor-led content, and assessments that support organizational learning goals.
The Instructional Designer Is Responsible For
- Design and development of learning materials.
- Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex information.
- Create learning aids such as outlines, storyboards, and basic eLearning content.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Edit and proofread course materials for clarity and consistency.
- Develop digital and instructor-led training materials.
- Support course testing, LMS publishing, and tracking of completion data.
- Gather and organize content from subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Maintain visual and editorial consistency across materials.
- Assist in managing learning management system (LMS) uploads and testing.
- Evaluate and revising previously created courses for accuracy and functionality.
- Participate in team meetings, reviews, and content QA.
- Alignment with learning objectives and business needs.
- Accuracy and clarity of learning materials.
- Timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Adherence to instructional design standards.
- Provide and receive productive/constructive feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Detailed knowledge of authoring tools.
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles and the ADDIE model.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Good interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment
- Collaboration and stakeholder relationships
