POSITION
WCF Insurance is seeking a qualified individual who exemplifies the company's core values to fill the position of Executive Assistant/Strategic Assistant. This full-time, non-exempt role is located at WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters reporting to the SVP of Finance (CFO) and will provide support to senior leadership within the Finance Department. Key responsibilities include coordinating and organizing department events (approximately twice annually) and managing various meetings such as ROCC and Finance managers' meetings. The position is open to both internal and external applicants.
Internal candidates must have completed at least six months in their current role, maintain a satisfactory job performance record, and inform their current supervisor of their application for this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Senior Vice President of Finance and other Finance leaders.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and creatively solve problems.
- Plans, coordinate, and manage special projects and assignments as requested, and prepares various presentations to help the senior leaders achieve WCF strategic goals and key initiatives. Create, compile, and assemble monthly reports, committee reports, presentations, and other information.
- Prepare correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports.
- Make travel arrangements for department executives.
- Input and maintain budget report and purchase requisitions.
- Generate reports summarizing data, results, and trends. Undertake special projects and assignments as requested.
The most qualified applicants will have:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience totaling five years.
- Strong Accounting Knowledge or degree. Need to understand, process, and create complex business reports and metrics.
- Must have strong organizational, communications (written and verbal), and meeting planning/facilitation skills.
- Demonstrate progressive responsibility in work experience.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and various other programs (Zoom, Adobe).
- Ability to organize concepts and create business and technical presentations.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently but also work in a team environment collaborating with the other department Executive Assistants.
