What You Will Do
As an Account Manager at SPARK, you’ll be the trusted relationship lead for a portfolio of clients, ensuring every engagement delivers measurable value and reflects SPARK’s core values. You’ll develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, anticipate their evolving needs, and align SPARK’s solutions to help them reach their goals.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers to ensure those goals are achieved through strong collaboration, clear communication, and deliverables that meet client expectations. From leading strategy discussions to reviewing performance results, you’ll guide clients through each stage of their partnership, managing contracts, renewals, and long-term plans that keep projects moving forward.
Beyond maintaining relationships, you’ll drive client growth by identifying opportunities for new initiatives, expansions, or optimizations. You’ll help clients see what’s next, translating their challenges and ambitions into actionable projects that continue to drive their success and fuel SPARK’s.
Some travel will be required to meet with clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
$75,000 - $85,000 annually with opportunities for variable compensation.
Total earning opportunities of up to $130,000 annually.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing proactive communication, strategic guidance, and recommendations.
- Build strong relationships by understanding each client's goals, operations, and industry landscape.
- Lead client meetings and reviews to align priorities, budgets, deliverables, and upcoming opportunities.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure high-quality execution and a seamless client experience.
- Track performance metrics and translate results into clear insights and next-step recommendations.
- Manage contracts, renewals, and account forecasting to maintain accuracy and financial alignment.
- Ensure client retention by maintaining satisfaction, addressing concerns quickly, and reinforcing long-term value.
- Drive client growth by identifying and developing new initiatives or service opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to align account performance with SPARK's overall strategy and goals.
- Coordinate in-person visits or events to strengthen relationships and reinforce partnership value.
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a marketing, software, or digital service environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience navigating conversations around budgets, performance, and outcomes.
- A proactive, positive approach with a focus on delivering results and strengthening long-term partnerships.
- Solid understanding of digital and/or software development process.
- BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Familiarity with both marketing performance metrics and software project lifecycles.
- Experience in consultative or solution-based account management.
- Background in local or B2B client strategy.
