Responsibilities
- Assist nurses and providers with patient care in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Provide comfort and support to mothers and families
- Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly
- Help with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding support
- Keep patient rooms stocked, organized, and welcoming
- Ensure a safe and caring environment for every patient and baby
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma/GED
- Prefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the Iowa Direct Care Registry
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
