Description
The School of Nursing seeks applicants for a twelve-month (fiscal) non-tenure track faculty position beginning May 1, 2026. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and providing service at the school, college and university levels. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with supportive colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in service and scholarship activities that advance the mission of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Teaching up to 15 credit hours per semester and providing service to the school, college and university levels. Teaching responsibilities may include engaging undergraduate nursing students through clinical experiences, simulation-based learning, and/or classroom instruction. Faculty are encouraged to bring creativity, mentorship, and evidence-based strategies to foster student growth and professional readiness.

- Unencumbered Georgia Registered Nursing license
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
- A record of mentoring students
