Responsibilities
What you’ll do…
- Develop inventory planning policies to support dealer fill rate of products, ultimately influencing repair order rates and timing.
- Develop inventory stocking policies for service parts in the US and Canada.
- Monitor dealer/customer demand patterns to assist in the creation of product forecasts, working closely with our marketing teams to understand sales forecasts and promotions.
- Work with the internal forecasting team and GDIA to monitor and improve forecasting within SAP-SCM.
- Work with GDIA to improve planning processes and implement potential AI solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with teams in Operations / Product Releasing / Master Data / Enterprise Technology (ET) / Purchasing to improve solutions and processes that will lead to better product fill rate and repair rates.
- Work cross-functionally with the ET team to develop and improve processes within SAP-SCM and to support various FCSD projects. Examples: S/4 Hana Transition, Order Management, eSPP launch
- Support the Transformation team in developing processes and policies to modernize Ford Customer Service Division.
You'll Have...
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or another related field
- Experience using SAP Suite
- Data mining and data analysis skills
- Strong skills working within a team environment
- 5+ years' experience in supply planning, logistics, merchandising, or forecasting
- Experience with planning multi-echelon networks with large SKU counts
- Experience with Alteryx / Power BI or other similar data mining/manipulation tools.
- Experience using SAP-APO, SAP-SPP
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
