We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Labor Compliance Coordinator to join our innovative team in the construction industry. This role is integral to our organization's success and requires a professional who has a solid background in managing sub-contractors, contracts, risk management, prevailing wage compliance, file management, communication, auditing, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and will be proficient in all aspects of labor compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's growth while working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Labor Compliance Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all labor compliance requirements are met in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Managing and monitoring sub-contractor agreements, contracts, and compliance.
  • Conducting regular audits to verify compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Overseeing prevailing wage compliance and ensuring all labor rates meet the necessary standards.
  • Implementing and maintaining an effective file management system.
  • Communicating effectively with various departments, contractors, and external agencies to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential compliance issues.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on labor compliance matters.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and updating company policies accordingly.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Labor Compliance Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor compliance, contract management, or a related field within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing sub-contractors and contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of prevailing wage compliance and labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Exceptional file management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits and identifying compliance risks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software and compliance management systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field is preferred.
