Position Summary –


Without further ado, CPH is actively seeking a talented HRIS/Benefits Specialist to join our team in Sanford, FL with a focus on human resources management systems and benefits administration. This position will require an individual who is resolution-focused and detail-oriented with an extremely positive and adaptable attitude and ability to quickly process constructive feedback in an appropriate and timely fashion.

The HRIS/Benefits Specialist will actively expand one’s skill set in technology, overall human resources function/workflow, and analytics. This role will include heavy use of HRIS systems, ADP, and special projects such as compensation analysis. This is a great role for an individual who seeks to identify workflow pain points and work collaboratively as part of a team to resolve problem areas with the use of both data analytics and technology to make both informed and innovative decision resulting in a more seamless and effective HR workflow function.

The most important requirement for this position will be an individual with professional experience working hands-on with HRIS systems. ADP experience is highly desired but not required as this is a proficiency that can be quickly acquired by utilizing a transferrable skill set in an existing HRIS system experience such as Workday or Paylocity.

An ideal candidate for this role would have 1-2 years minimum of professional experience making organizational recommendations to increase functional productivity and workflow solutions for the HR department.

Position Scope & Key Responsibilities

Position Scope –

The HRIS/Benefits Specialist leads the HRIS team to automate, integrate, and configure core processes in human resources. You will play a key leadership role in defining how HRIS can be optimized to provide an amazing employee experience that supports a company/organization to become a high impact HR organization.

Key Responsibilities –

HRIS & HR Data Management
  • Administer and maintain the company’s HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support HRIS enhancements, troubleshooting, and system upgrades partnering with IT.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support HR decision-making.
Benefits Administration
  • Oversee benefits enrollment, changes, and compliance with company policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with benefits providers to manage renewals and ensure competitive offerings
HR Analytics & Compensation Data
  • Analyze HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, compensation trends, and workforce analytics.
  • Support compensation benchmarking and market data analysis to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Assist in salary surveys, pay equity analysis, and compensation modeling.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Maintain HR policies, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Support audits related to HR data, benefits, and compensation.
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and data accuracy.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise

Qualifications & Skills –
  • Bachelor-level degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS management, or related HR roles.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms (ADP is a plus).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications –
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Power BI is a plus.
