Production Planner 2 at Experis

Our client, a leading Automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting production scheduling and inventory management.

Job Title: Production Planner 2

Location:Pontiac, MI

Pay Range: $20 - $23 per hour

What's the Job?

• Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and prioritize materials accordingly.
• Record production data, including volume produced, raw material consumption, and quality control measures.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning or related roles.
• Experience running reports and managing Excel files.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
