Looking for a person that is familiar with ASAM criteria and experience applying it to client placement and treatment planning.
Strong documentation skills and ability to complete notes in an EMR system.
Understanding of substance use treatment, co-occurring disorders, and recovery principles.
Knowledge of COMAR and Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) compliance requirements.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities
Conducted supervised client intakes and assisted in developing treatment plans for outpatient clients.
Co-facilitated group therapy sessions focused on relapse prevention, life skills, and emotional regulation.
Participated in weekly supervision and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Documented client progress in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
Provided peer support to individuals in early recovery through weekly check-ins and group activities.
Help connect clients with local housing, employment, and medical resources.
Supported staff during outreach events and community education workshops.
Qualifications
Certified Alcohol & Drug Trainee (ADT) – Maryland Board – Issued 08/2025
CPR & First Aid – American Red Cross – Expires 06/2027
Mandated Reporter Training – Maryland Department of Human Services – Completed 04/2025
HIPAA & Confidentiality Training – Completed 03/2025
