Job Description

We are looking for an HR Operations Partner to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll ensure the systems, processes, and structures of our people operations run smoothly and scale with the business. You’ll be the go-to partner for HR technology, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and operational excellence, efficiency, and a strong employee experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

HR Operations & Process Ownership

  • Partner with HR leadership to design and manage scalable processes for onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
  • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and playbooks that bring clarity and consistency across the organization.
  • Coordinate closely with IT and Finance to ensure smooth transitions, access management, and payroll/benefits alignment.

HR Technology & Data

  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator for HR systems (Lattice, Greenhouse, Employee Navigator, etc.).
  • Drive adoption and training for HR tools, ensuring leaders and employees understand how to use them effectively.
  • Maintain clean, accurate data across systems and generate regular and ad hoc HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, compliance, onboarding metrics).
  • Maintain clean, accurate data across systems and provide reporting, dashboards, and insights to leadership.

Training & Development

  • Own and lead the new hire onboarding and orientation experience, including designing and delivering content.
  • Partner with leaders to create department-level onboarding resources and role-specific training guides.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and resources that support leadership development, compliance, and company-wide learning.
  • Facilitate training sessions (virtual and in-person) to reinforce company culture, policies, and leadership expectations.
  • Track training participation and measure effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.

Compliance & Accuracy

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with I-9s, audits, and employment regulations.
  • Partner with HR and Legal on updates to policies and compliance requirements.
  • Support benefit enrollments, open enrollment, and reporting as needed.

Employee Experience Support

  • Support HR programs that improve onboarding, orientation, and engagement.
  • Act as a reliable partner for employees on HR processes and systems, escalating complex employee relations or performance matters to HR leadership.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve the employee experience through systems and process innovation.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–6 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years focused in HR operations, HRIS, or process management
  • SaaS/tech startup experience is a requirement
  • You are excited about technology and believe a better internal technology experience brings a better employee experience. Strong knowledge of HR systems (HRIS, ATS, performance/engagement platforms) and experience managing data, workflows, and integrations.
  • Proven ability to and interest to create structure and process in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a bias toward operational excellence.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into process improvements.

Additional Information

  • This is a hybrid position consisting of both on-site and remote/virtual work.
  • Candidates must live in/near the Greater Indianapolis area and be willing and able to work from our Indianapolis office 2 days per week.
  • Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the USA without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
