General Welders manipulate metal parts, ensuring their proper fusion through heating. They bear responsibility for interpreting blueprints, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Expertise in various welding techniques is essential.

• Using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to join metal parts.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications to understand the project requirements.
• Inspecting and testing welds to ensure they meet design requirements and safety standards.
• Setting up and operating welding equipment safely and efficiently.

Starting pay: $17 per hour.
