- Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
- Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
- Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
- Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
- Associate's Degree - Preferred
- Vocational/Technical Degree in Construction, Facilities Management, Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or other related field - Preferred
- 5 years - Construction or facilities management in industrial or health care environment, and acute care hospital setting - Preferred

- Must have the demonstrated ability to work with various tools and equipment typical of the trade.
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, basic schematic, and basic wiring diagrams.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair responsibilities;
- Basic plumbing skills, including basic working knowledge of sanitary sewer, storm water, CW/HW distribution, and gas piping
- Basic mechanical skills, including basic working knowledge of drive components, bearings, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and steam distribution systems.
- Master Electrician - Preferred
