General Purpose
Perform a variety of complex secretarial, clerical and administrative duties to support the Domestic violence court coordinator.
This is a regular part-time position which is regularly scheduled to work 19 hours or less per
Week.
Supervision Received
Work under the broad policy guidance set by the Board of County Commissioners. Receive functional supervision from the Trial Court Administrator, and direct supervision from the Domestic Violence Court Coordinator.

Essential Functions
Provide administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Domestic Violence Court Coordinator; prepare or transcribe correspondence, reports and various documents as required; assist in preparation of annual budget requests; schedule appointments; maintain calendar; take minutes at meetings; make travel arrangements, etc.
Maintain statistical data on all phone calls and office visits; prepare and submit monthly and quarterly activity reports; receive and distribute mail and other correspondence; respond to routine requests for information or refer inquiries to appropriate personnel.
Monitor budgets and expenditures, order supplies; prepare and process claims for expenditures; maintain financial records and prepare and submit various reports as required.
Enter information into computer records; prepare and submit various reports, documents and other correspondence as required.
Ability to maintain regular, reliable patterns in work product and attendance according to Bonneville County's expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of elected officials, department heads, managers, supervisors, co-workers and officials from other agencies including law enforcement, Health and Welfare, courts, probation, etc.; perform basic mathematical computations; use time effectively and work with limited supervision; to understand, interpret and follow complex verbal and written instructions; and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work independently when supervision is not readily available; maintain confidentiality as needed to assure responsible public and administrative interactions.
While heavy lifting is not typically involved, employees may need to occasionally lift or move light items like boxes or files and folding tables.

- Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent plus one (1) year of post high school training in bookkeeping, accounting, general office practice or a related field;
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience performing the above or related duties
- An equivalent combination of education and Experience.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of elected officials, department heads, managers, supervisors, co-workers and officials from other agencies including law enforcement, Health and Welfare, courts, probation, etc.; perform basic mathematical computations; use time effectively and work with limited supervision; to understand, interpret and follow complex verbal and written instructions; and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work independently when supervision is not readily available; maintain confidentiality as needed to assure responsible public and administrative interactions.
- Special Qualifications:
- Highly proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
