Summary
The primary focus of this position is to coordinate and drive Water Works projects through the process from initial request to completion, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables stay on track. This role supports the Water Works Product Manager by organizing project details, facilitating communication between departments, and ensuring documentation is up to date. The Water Works Projects Coordinator also assists with customer-specific requests and field trials.

Summary

This role supports the Water Works Product Manager by organizing project details, facilitating communication between departments, and ensuring documentation is up to date. The Water Works Projects Coordinator also assists with customer-specific requests and field trials.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and task lists for smaller Water Works projects (line extensions, specials, document updates, minor design changes, etc.).
- Track project status, identify roadblocks, and proactively follow up with team members to keep work on schedule.
- Coordinate and document project meetings (agendas, notes, action items, owners, and due dates).
- Ensure all project deliverables (drawings, specs, pricing, packaging, labels, literature, etc.) are requested, completed, and stored in the right systems.
- Help prepare project updates and summary reports for the Water Works Product Manager and other stakeholders.
- Support the Water Works Product Manager by coordinating and tracking smaller Water Works projects from idea through launch or close-out.
- Help keep Water Works projects organized and moving by managing timelines, tasks, and follow-ups across multiple teams.
- Act as a central point of contact for day-to-day project questions related to Water Works products and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to relay customer feedback and enhance product offerings.

- Provide application-based product recommendations tailored to customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and foster a deeper understanding of water works products across departments.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of product-related issues in the field.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive products, and evolving customer needs.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth accounting operations.
- Balances technical expertise with a service-oriented attitude.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in a technical support, product specialist, or application engineering role.
- Familiarity with water works products is highly desirable.
