We are looking for a knowledgeable and innovative R&D Contract Scientist to join our team in Frisco. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sports science, nutrition, and hydration strategies to support athletic performance and recovery.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage clinical trials related to hydration science, including protocol refinement, participant recruitment, and study execution.
• Demonstrate knowledge of exercise physiology, sports nutrition, laboratory testing, research studies, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Assist with sports science testing for elite athletes and clinical research participants, including lab- and field-based assessments such as metabolic, body composition, biochemical, and neuromuscular testing.
• Collect and organize data, prepare reports, enter information into spreadsheets and databases, and create/file study regulatory documents (e.g., CRFs) in compliance with GCP and company research standards.
• Exhibit strong communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Effectively manage projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and within scope; set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and report progress to leadership.
• Assist with study participant recruitment and scheduling/coordinating lab visits as needed.
