Alpha is transforming how students learn – and we need an exceptional leader to unlock new possibilities for the next generation. If you excel at developing high-impact teams and possess genuine dedication to youth advancement, you will drive meaningful change here.

This position offers both the independence and resources to elevate our innovative learning model. Grounded in educational science and driven by adaptive technology, we are reshaping the landscape of modern education. Your expertise is essential to realizing this vision.

You will serve as the driving force, the mentor, the architect behind our Guides – the frontline facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, from crafting operational frameworks and feedback systems to demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques.

This role merges expert coaching capabilities with direct involvement in youth development. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring students not only achieve but flourish – discovering latent abilities and critical life competencies. If you have exceeded targets, revitalized underperforming operations, or accomplished what others deemed unattainable, you belong here.

What Alpha Offers

  • Market-competitive compensation - we maintain that working in education should not require financial sacrifice
  • Robust benefits and leave policies - we prioritize team well-being through comprehensive coverage and paid time away
  • Development-focused environment - we practice the continuous improvement we ask of our students, providing coaching, professional training, and leadership pathways
  • Relocation support for exceptional candidates

If you understand what it takes to assemble and lead outstanding teams, join Alpha and help transform the future of education.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coaching and developing a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning methodology at the highest standard
  • Building Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies
  • Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that enhances student participation and outcomes
  • Personally mentoring a select group of students, exemplifying advanced coaching and motivational techniques

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Creating lesson plans – Guides support student learning via adaptive applications; you concentrate on preparing them to be outstanding facilitators
  • Compromising expectations – when our benchmark is 100%, you uphold that standard
  • Conducting dull training sessions – you will develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential learning

Performance Coach Key Responsibilities

Coach and develop a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system at a world-class level.

Basic Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related areas.
  • Proven track record designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
  • Established leadership and coaching capabilities with a history of building, leading, and energizing high-performing teams.
  • Direct experience working with youth populations (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data to inform strategy and foster continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
