What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core skills in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
• Creating personalized engagement strategies that resonate with students and foster a lasting passion for reading
• Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve instruction and generate actionable feedback
• Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI-driven literacy platforms
  
  

Basic Requirements

Literacy Coach key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading pedagogy (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent credential)
• Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary learners
• Demonstrated ability to assess reading proficiency, organize student groups, and create differentiated instruction independent of scripted curricula
• Comfortable using AI and adaptive learning platforms, and able to respond to student interactions within these systems
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements
• Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
