About the Role

The Sheet Metal Worker is responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining sheet-metal equipment, fixtures, and systems essential to facility operations and project work. This role requires technical skill, precision, and the ability to work from detailed specifications, including blueprints and models. Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, install, and maintain sheet-metal equipment and fixtures, including machine guards, grease pans, shelves, lockers, tanks, ventilators, chutes, ducts, metal roofing, and related components.
  • Plan and lay out all types of sheet-metal maintenance and installation work based on blueprints, models, or other technical specifications.
  • Set up and operate a variety of sheet-metal working machines and equipment.
  • Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, bending, forming, shaping, fitting, and assembling sheet-metal components.
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality installation of sheet-metal articles as required by project or maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments to existing sheet-metal fixtures and systems to maintain them in good working order.
