Come join the DAS-CHRO Classification & Compensation team in a new support role! The Data Analyst will create, implement, and update workflow tracking tools and reporting dashboards for the DAS CHRO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop logic-based automations between tracking systems to improve processing and cycle times.
  • Collaborate with DAS divisions to design and refine workflow tracking tools.
  • Lead reporting on assigned business areas for KPIs, ad hoc reports, and dashboard updates.
  • Maintain regular reporting schedules and respond to data requests.
  • Conduct research and analysis on classification, compensation, bargaining, market trends, and policy changes.

Minimum Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

OR

  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

Desired Attributes

  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, R, Tableau, relational databases, excel etc.
  • Skilled in interpreting data and identifying trends to support decision-making, ensuring accuracy in data, reports, and system maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a work group or team.
  • Knowledge of Workday, the state’s Human Resource Information System, navigating automated business processes and troubleshooting issues within the system is desirable.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload with multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, and competing deadlines.
