About This Role

Crusoe is on a mission to align the long-term interests of the climate with the future of global computing infrastructure. As a Material Planner / Expeditor, you will be a critical member of our team, responsible for the close tracking, management, and status reporting of materials, products, and services for major projects. Your role will begin at the requisition stage and continue through to final delivery and inventory management, ensuring a seamless flow of assets. You will also be key in procuring materials and services, soliciting quotes, analyzing bids, and recommending supplier awards. This is a fully on-site position at our Arvada facility, and it's a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and resilient professional to make a significant impact on our operations. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Expediting & Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage and accelerate the movement of critical materials and equipment through the supply chain. Immediately address and resolve complex issues, risks, or potential delivery slippages with suppliers to ensure projects meet mission-critical timelines.
  • Order Management & Reporting: Track numerous mission-critical orders, ensuring delivery dates are met. You will report to all team members on any data slippages, risks, or issues related to the delivery and receipt of orders.
  • Supplier Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions for quality and service issues or potential late deliveries.
  • Procurement & Purchase Order Management: Procure materials and services, primarily for manufacturing and project needs. You will manage and process purchase orders and update sourcing management on the status of orders.
  • Compliance & Vendor Management: Track and ensure contract and supplier compliance with all terms, conditions, and insurance requirements. You will also coordinate activities with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely supplier performance.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Assist with inventory and asset management, ensuring all purchased assets are correctly received and managed.
  • Additional Duties as Needed: Assist with administrative duties, contract routing and execution, supplier sourcing, etc; You will also mentor, support, or act as a backup for other team members as needed.


What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement and Acquisitions Management, or the equivalent in education and experience combined. You should have 2-5 years of experience as an expeditor or project procurement coordinator.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with data center experience being a significant plus.
  • Process Development Aptitude: Demonstrated experience building out or significantly improving new logistics, expediting, or procurement processes from inception within a growing organization.
  • Compliance & Safety: This is a safety-sensitive position, so a willingness to take a background and drug test is required. You must also have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Bonus Points

  • Industry certifications are desirable, but not required.
  • Any experience in a similar role with a manufacturing or data center background is advantageous.
  • Previous experience with a new procurement software implementation.
  • Experience in purchasing for fast-paced projects with mission-critical timelines.

Compensation

Compensation will be paid in the range of $83,000 - $95,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
