Summary

Contract-to-hire junior email designer to support a senior designer on email/template work. This role focuses on building and configuring responsive email templates (Knak) and ensuring brand-consistent, mobile-first designs. Hybrid schedule required: approximately 3 days/week on-site in Reading, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure Knak email templates and maintain template libraries.
  • Translate design concepts into responsive, mobile-first email layouts.
  • Collaborate with the communications team and project managers to ensure project requirements are met on time.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and ensure visual consistency across email communications.
  • Optimize assets and prepare files for handoff to the email campaign team.
  • Work at a fast pace while accepting direction and feedback from a senior designer.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as a designer, preferably with email design experience.
  • 1–3 years working in Knak (template setup and management).
  • Basic HTML knowledge and familiarity with email-friendly HTML/CSS practices.
  • Experience with Marketo or similar email marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating responsive and mobile-first email designs.
