What You Will Be Doing

• Mentoring and inspiring students through consistent, one-on-one engagement—no traditional lectures, only high-impact peer-style coaching
• Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI tools to enable individualized pacing for every student
• Facilitating small-group sessions centered on leadership development, life skills, and practical success frameworks
• Supporting students in identifying their unique talents and broadening their aspirations via tailored growth roadmaps
• Providing feedback and fresh thinking to advance Alpha's learning model through data insights and creative proposals
  
  

Basic Requirements

Learning Guide key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Proven track record of exceptional achievement (e.g. top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.)
• 3 year's experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to work in-person at Miami, FL; New York City, NY; Santa Barbara, CA or San Francisco, CA

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
