Active mentoring and development of staff is a critical element of the supervisory responsibilities to create a highly performing cohesive team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the DRT Stockroom, ensuring all material movement, kitting, and dispositioning processes are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory goods, including directing the preparation of materials for kitting and shipment.
- Ensure timely transfer of goods from Receiving Inspection into correct storage or kitting locations.
- Manage all clerical, record-keeping, and administrative functions of the Stockroom Department.
- Design, maintain, and optimize the organizational structure, workflows, and systems for the Assembly Stockroom to maximize efficiency.
- Develop budget forecasts, define staffing needs, and implement cost control measures aligned with departmental objectives.
- Plan and conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and enforce corrective actions.
- Train, develop, evaluate, and mentor stockroom personnel, establishing performance standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Interface with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure materials availability and process coordination.
- Monitor key performance metrics (e.g. inventory accuracy, turnaround time, throughput) and implement process improvements to meet or exceed targets.
- Uphold, promote, and educate your team on the Thales Code of Ethics and TUSA Compliance Policy, ensuring all actions and processes reflect corporate integrity and compliance.

Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or stockroom environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing material handling or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, materials management, and kitting processes.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications; Deltek Costpoint preferred.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English.
