About The Role
We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst / Systems Administrator to support the optimization, configuration, and ongoing management of our Workday Financials environment. While the role may be classified internally as a systems administrator, the focus is on analysis, configuration, and partnering with Finance and HR to ensure our systems align with business needs, improve efficiency, and deliver accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Expenses, Reporting).
- Partner with Finance and HR teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and translate business needs into system functionality.
- Support financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations, testing, and system upgrades.
- Provide end-user support and training to improve adoption and utilization of Workday Financials.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal controls.
- Contribute to ongoing projects, including financial transformations, process automation, and system enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, ERP systems, or HRIS/Workday Financials.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials configuration and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience with financial compliance (GAAP, audit support, internal controls).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas) and comfort with data reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience with Lawson ERP or other financial systems.
- Exposure to supply chain or procurement modules.
- Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades.
- Process improvement mindset with measurable impact (cost savings, efficiency gains).
