About The Role

We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst / Systems Administrator to support the optimization, configuration, and ongoing management of our Workday Financials environment. While the role may be classified internally as a systems administrator, the focus is on analysis, configuration, and partnering with Finance and HR to ensure our systems align with business needs, improve efficiency, and deliver accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Expenses, Reporting).
• Partner with Finance and HR teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and translate business needs into system functionality.
• Support financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations, testing, and system upgrades.
• Provide end-user support and training to improve adoption and utilization of Workday Financials.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to ongoing projects, including financial transformations, process automation, and system enhancements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, ERP systems, or HRIS/Workday Financials.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials configuration and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience with financial compliance (GAAP, audit support, internal controls).
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas) and comfort with data reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with Lawson ERP or other financial systems.
• Exposure to supply chain or procurement modules.
• Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades.
• Process improvement mindset with measurable impact (cost savings, efficiency gains).
