Then you get to work installing, repairing, or maintaining the plumbing system with precision, documenting your work as you go and ensuring everything meets local code. Along the way, you may coach an apprentice, pass along tips of the trade, and finish the day proud of a job done right.

What you will handle
- Diagnose residential plumbing issues and present solution options, including selling appropriate services and products.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping, fixtures, water heaters, and related residential systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to head off future problems.
- Collaborate with homeowners to understand needs and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Follow Washington and Oregon plumbing codes and all safety practices for full compliance.
- Maintain accurate job notes, material usage, and service records.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and junior plumbers as needed.
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing License in Washington and in Oregon.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed journeyman; strong residential background. Commercial exposure is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Clear, respectful communication with customers and teammates.
- Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in varied conditions including crawlspaces and attics.
- Detail driven with a commitment to craftsmanship and high-quality results.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency across core plumbing tasks, familiarity with wastewater treatment components, and experience with shower enclosure installation.
