Job Skills / Requirements
POSITION SUMMARY: Individual will serve as a working supervisor for typical crew sizes of 5 to 15 employees focused on earthwork and/or concrete scopes, as well as assist the superintendent with all related industrial construction activities.
Job Duties
- Ensures projects are completed safely, properly and productively.
- Enforces safety programs, rules and procedures.
- Ensures that all employees wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensures work complies with Kelley and customer procedures and directives.
- Ensures that proper housekeeping is being executed by field crew.
- Serves as the assistant to the Superintendent.
- Responsible for identifying, addressing, and correcting jobsite problems that may occur while working with crew.
- Responsible to backup superintendent in areas of documentation, such as reports, inspections logs, time sheets, and drawings.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 2 years supervisory experience in a commercial or industrial construction environment.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of form carpentry, concrete finishing and/or mobile equipment operations in industrial construction.
- Able to coach, lead and direct construction crew.
- Able to read, interpret and execute construction drawings, specifications and workplans.
- Eligible for Transportation Worker Industry Card (TWIC) from the Department of Homeland Security.
- OSHA 10-hr.
- Flexible and able to travel (up to 100%).
- Comfortable navigating web-based apps. Procore experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
