Behavioral Health Solutions is a team of mental health treatment professionals who specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and through SNF, Outpatient, and Telehealth. Position Summary

The Credentialing Specialist will oversee the Credentialing process for providers working as Employees or Independent Contractors with BHS. These duties include:

• Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers
• Review, verify, and submit credentialing applications
• Set up and maintain provider information in an online credentialing database system
• Track license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals
• Maintain and protect the confidential records of all protected providers proceedings as required by law.
• Government and commercial payer enrollment.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of medical credentialing experience; or Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist status
• Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
• Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in high-pressure situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
• Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledgeable in the use of EMR systems such as AthenaOne
• Ability to adhere to strict attendance and punctually expectations
• Ability to attend to details ensuring accuracy in a timely manner
• Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively
• Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
• Ability to demonstrate Behavioral Health Solutions’ core values and performance principles of compassion, teamwork, respect, integrity, accountability, and quality service
