Job Title: Research Scientist IV

What's the Job?
- Lead and manage research projects focused on speech quality and auditory perception, analyzing data and reporting findings.
- Design and implement perceptual experiments, including pilot listening tests, to gather insights on audio quality preferences.
- Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to develop innovative solutions for augmented audio experiences.
- Monitor project progress, identify dependencies and risks, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Support operational tasks such as procurement of equipment and vendor management to ensure project success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects proactively and efficiently.
- Experience with data collection involving human participants in research settings.
- Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, or R.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in fields like Cognitive Science, Audio Engineering, Perception, or related disciplines.
- Must speak at least one tonal language - Mandarin, Cantonese, or similar
