Job Skills
- Proven experience in garment production, with a focus on luxury fashion. Strong technical design skills. Knowledge of pattern making and production coordination. Impeccable attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently. Sewing experience is a plus. Experience with cost negotiation. Experience creating BOMs Experience with creating cutting tickets. Experience with QC. Experience with contract negotiations with domestic and overseas factories.
In this role, you will oversee the full production lifecycle–from sourcing and procurement through manufacturing, fulfillment, and delivery–to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality output.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, train, and inspire production team members, ensuring adherence to processes, procedures, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with pattern makers, designers, and cross-functional teams to bring the brand’s vision to life.
- Oversee seasonal mood board preparation and maintain organized libraries of fabrics, trims, prints, and colors.
- Manage and streamline all manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and exceptional quality.
- Assess resource requirements, maintain detailed records, and proactively resolve challenges before they impact timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders, cutting tickets, bill of materials (BOMs), and coordinate with factories and graders for timely execution.
- Organize and track all customer custom orders, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost-effective results without compromising quality.
- Sources and order fabrics, trims, and notions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to cutting rooms and factories.
- Review swatches, lab dips, and fabric samples (domestic and overseas) for quality and color accuracy.

- Maintain up-to-date work-in-progress logs, trim charts, and inventory reports to support production and merchandising needs.
- Review and measure garments to confirm alignment with specifications and brand standards.
- Participate in fit meetings, providing input to resolve design or production challenges.
- Oversee receiving and inspection of new production, coordinating with logistics for efficient delivery to stores.
- Identify potential quality or production issues early and ensure swift resolution.
- Track shipments and update relevant departments with delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure products are distributed efficiently to store locations and wholesale partners.
- Ensure inventory levels remain aligned with business needs, collaborating with design and sales teams to adjust as necessary.
