You'll be the person who enables parents to recognize the difference. Not through brochures or abstract philosophies, but with transparent results, personalized engagement, and swift, attentive admissions execution that converts interest into enrollment. This isn't a position for someone who simply wants to reassure families. It's for someone who understands how to sell a superior product — and identify families who are the right match to benefit from it.

You'll own admissions for a single campus — Scottsdale, San Francisco, or Dallas — with authority over your pipeline, tours, events, and data. There's no team to supervise and no handoffs to compensate for gaps. Just you, owning the entire experience. If that feels overwhelming, this isn't your role. What You Will Be Doing

  • Replying to prospective family inquiries within 4 hours — always personalized, never templated.
  • Leading school tours and events that demonstrate our model concretely: how we teach 2x faster, why it's effective, and who thrives here.
  • Overseeing the admissions pipeline: applications, shadow days, decision conversations, and onboarding.
  • Maintaining HubSpot and SIS data with accuracy, timeliness, and readiness for weekly reporting.
  • Refining FAQs, SOPs, and admissions materials using real-time insights — and experimenting with new approaches to boost conversion.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Supervising a team — you are both the process owner and the primary operator.
  • Accommodating bureaucracy — this operates at startup velocity, not institutional committee pace.
  • Viewing all applicants identically — your responsibility is to select strategically, not simply fill capacity.
  • Defending the model — some people will reject it. You'll excel with those who understand it.
  • Operating remotely — this is an on-campus position with occasional local event attendance.

Admissions Manager Key Responsibilities

Own and refine the admissions experience to transform qualified interest into enrolled families — and ensure every touchpoint embodies the speed, clarity, and rigor of the school itself.

Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years owning complete admissions cycles at a competitive, tuition-based academic institution.
  • Demonstrated success managing selective enrollment from initial contact through final decision.
  • Confidence and executive presence when engaging with high-net-worth families.
  • Outstanding writing, speaking, and presentation capabilities.
  • Robust operational discipline: CRM proficiency (particularly HubSpot), time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ, San Francisco, CA, or Dallas, TX.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background in selective private school admissions or competitive college enrollment.
  • Experience designing and executing events that shape high-stakes family decisions.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, conversion metrics, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered or mastery-based educational models.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
