Associate Attorney at W3Global

We're working with a respected litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 - 7 years of experience to join their growing team. This role focuses on Michigan Labor/Employment Law, providing hands-on litigation exposure and client interaction in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and representation on employment matters, handling a variety of labor and employment law issues.

Location: Saginaw, Detroit, or Grand Rapids, MI (mostly office-based, especially initially)

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on employment and labor law matters, including compliance and risk management.
• Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other employment-related proceedings.
• Conduct research on employment law issues and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal support.
  
  

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Michigan.
• 3-7 years of experience in labor/employment law.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Office-based primarily, with flexibility as needed.
