This position is designated as Fully Remote and is not expected to work from our World Headquarters (unless occasionally necessary for meetings/trainings, etc.). Position Overview
This role supports the implementation of strategies to foster a Rotary culture of respect, belonging, and positive engagement, and promotes the value of the contributions of people with different backgrounds, characteristics, ideas, thoughts, values, and beliefs for participants and members in their club and district experiences. You serve as the primary liaison to the Enhancing Participant Experience Committee. You coordinate projects with various staff teams to communicate and advocate for Rotary’s desired culture and values. You respond to issues of Rotary’s culture and values and resolve related inquiries. You support the overall Culture & Values team with issue resolution, member behavior accountability policy compliance, at the direction of the Global Group Manager.

You Will Have
- Experience in one or more areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, or positive culture-building.
- Experience in one or more areas of conflict resolution, mediation, youth safeguarding, and change management
- Experience in project management or coordinating the work of multiple different individuals with teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required ;graduate work in related fields preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to effectively communicate, facilitate learning and inspire others
- Strong orientation toward collaborative-based work
- Excellence in verbal and written skills with a global, multicultural audience
- Experience in supporting culture change and change management initiatives
- Study, work, or volunteer experience abroad, preferred
- Non-English language fluency or cross-cultural competencies, preferred
- Building strong working relationships with volunteers and colleagues at all levels

- Creating, facilitating, and delivering learning opportunities (in person and virtually)
- Identifying and anticipating needs to solve issues and drive outcomes
- Analyzing data for integration into strategies and regional plans
- Public speaking, facilitating, coaching, active listening, and managing multiple communication streams
Committee
- Coordinate the work of the Enhancing Participant Engagement (EPE) Committee (a joint committee of Rotary and its Foundation)
- Facilitate communication, connection and activation of EPE district committee chairs
- Provide learning, support and access to resources for EPE district chairs
- Build and maintain successful working relationships with committee and district chairs
- Coordinate the implementation and continual development of Rotary’s positive culture and values within clubs and districts
- Collaborate with various staff teams (Communications, Leadership & Development, Membership Growth & Experience, Strategy, Programs & Engagement, etc.) to create awareness and promote activity to foster a positive culture for participants, members, and leaders
- Develop and implement support of district chairs via newsletter, focus groups, webinars, in person learning events, and workshop(s) to foster positive culture and connection to our values
- Coordinate implementation of diversity metrics, monitoring & reporting to effectively benchmark organizational and regional progress in fostering a positive culture and values
- Prepare Board and Trustee items (Committee, Survey and Reports, and Policy updates)
- Support the overall Culture & Values team with issue resolution and member conduct policy compliance and behavior accountability management, by contributing to volume of inquiries and escalations, at the direction of the Global Group Manager.
- Continuously improve our policies and procedures to foster a positive culture and showcase our values
- Facilitate improving knowledge of staff and leadership for current and emerging insights in culture-building
- Support projects, staff, participants, and members in fostering a positive, respectful and upholding Rotary’s values.
- Domestic and international travel to resolve conflicts, participate in global events, lead or participate in learning events and to build relationships
- Collaboration – Facilitate collaborations with others to achieve success
- Communication - Clarify and focus discussions on culture-building and share culture insights with organization
- Engagement – Promote an inclusive environment of respect and belonging
- Innovation – Build excitement for innovative ideas and encourage a flexible mindset
