The Role

Oaktree is seeking a summer Intern with a 2028 expected graduation date to join our Power Opportunities Team. The Intern will focus on transaction functions and portfolio management activities, while being part of our international internship program. As part of this program you will have contact with senior leaders and opportunities to participate in events in and outside of the Oaktree office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the team in preparing detailed financial models
  • Aiding in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Developing and maintaining business and industry due diligence
  • Assisting in conducting deal structuring, legal documentation, negotiations and post-closing deal monitoring

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial modeling
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong capabilities in Excel

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a high GPA from a university or college.

Summer Stipend

$43/hour
