We are currently reviewing resumes for an experienced Corporate Paralegal, one who possesses a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills. This position is located in Bellevue, WA. Off I-90 and the Eastgate Exit.

This important position requires strong organizational skills, must be extremely detail-oriented, and excel in follow-through. You must have the ability to work well under tight timelines for multiple internal clients. You will coordinate various aspects of the preparation of documents as well as closing for signatures, and arrange distribution. Creating organizational documents, including articles of incorporation or dissolution. Organize and maintain legal files. Prepare and file annual reports and notices of any changes with officers.

  • Organize and maintain contacts and legal files,
  • Obtain good standing certificates from the Secretary of State.
  • Prepares meeting minutes for shareholders.
  • Prepare and file DBAs.
  • Apply for Federal Identification numbers and prepare all documentation.
  • Maintain and apply for healthcare facility licenses.
  • Maintain government healthcare payer credentialing (Medicare, Medicaid, VA).
  • Manage incoming medical records requests in alignment with HIPAA, company policy, and external legal counsel advice.
  • Manage licensing, titling, insurance, and registration for a fleet of corporate vehicles.
  • Work with all inside and outside counsel regarding any potential litigation.
  • Project manage property and liability insurance claims.
  • Assist with insurance policy management (COI;s, renewal documentation, reporting claims, etc.).
  • Assist with Federal, State Legal regulatory compliance.
  • Draft letters for various legal, insurance, finance, or HR needs.
  • Assist in all legal aspects of real estate finance, acquisition, or disposition in collaboration with the internal finance team and external legal counsel.
  • General clerical duties to include scanning, filing, and assisting other departments with their legal needs.

Position Requirements

  • Real Estate Experience is a big plus.
  • Healthcare Experience is a big plus.
  • This position requires a high level of professionalism to work with all employees at all levels in various departments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal experience. Ability to read, write, and communicate fluent English.
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through are a must.
  • We ask that you have a paralegal Certificate in a program approved by the American Bar Association.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Notary License
